Tianzhuo Chen was born in 1985 in Beijing, China, and currently lives in London. He is doing his BA degree in Central Saint Martins college of Art and design. His current work has focus on Oil painting, Videos and installations. Following list is his recent major exhibitions. Tianzhuo Chen represents the new generation and dynamic figure of creative talents in China. His work is highly related to traditional Chinese culture and transfers them in a modern style, his styles merge traditional and surrealistic. He compasses a contemporary meaning in traditional images.His works combine the traditional and the surreal free painting style, depicting the mutual relationship with the contradictory of the traditional and exotic culture in the progress of the multicultural society and the ideological change under the multicultural influences.
