My earlier concept sketch.
Spontaneous 3-D butterflies cut-out by members of audience using used magazine papers provided by the artist. The cut-outs will be displayed on the pillar 2-D Chinese ornament pattern designed and pre-cut by the artist using the paper provided by the organizer Some of the butterflies will gradually transform from 2-D into 3-D The whole design will fit into the box of the existing mosaic pattern on the V&A museum’s floor.
